Oral and maxillofacial surgery (chin, face surgery) is a special field in the dental area that specializes in surgical, assistive treatment for tumor, malformations, infection or trauma on the oral cavity, jaw, and face. The main treatment contents are (1) intraoral minor surgery including wisdom tooth extraction and implants, (2) jaw correction surgery (double jaw surgery) (3) jaw fracture, (4) cysts on the jaw bone, benign & malignant tumor, (5) jaw joint disease, (6) cleft lip and palate, (7) infections on the face of the jaw including the maxillary sinuses, (8) jaw and facial reconstruction.
