Pathology word comes from Latin pathologia, which combines pathos (disease) and logos (knowledge, science), meaning 'study of diseases', 'science of diseases' or 'disease theory'. It studies morphological changes of human cell and tissue, finding out kinds of disease, its cause, course of occurrence and clinical meaning. Pathology is fundamental field of study for medicine.
At pathology, all the followings are examined to diagnose the disease quickly and accurately; all kinds of samples taken from the patient, such as biopsy tissue, removed organ, accompanied cell from series of body fluids or aspirated cell by fine needle. This helps your physician to make appropriate decision for patient's current condition, treatment plan and prevention of disease.
